The stone church was built as a rectangular hall with a slightly wider tower and the north sacristy in the 2nd half of the 13th century. The church was expanded to include the choir area in the east from 1724. The 40 m high tower was built in 1893 in neo-Romanesque form for a collapsed predecessor. It is made of bricks with arched sound hatches and a high pointed helmet. The western front is decorated with a rosette in a triangle made of shaped stones.
