Arboretum Paderborn-Haxtergrund

An arboretum is always an educational place for people who enjoy nature and who care for it. The Arboretum on Haxter Grund is (again) in good condition and worth a detour on a Haxtergrund hike - maybe just for a break on one of the benches.

Around 40 tree species can be seen in the arboretum.The Arboretum Haxtergrund is a tree garden with around 40 different native and foreign tree species. It is expanded every year by the respective "Tree of the Year". A circular path leads past the various tree species; The German and botanical names of the tree and the country of origin are indicated on signs.
