Runs well on the dike. Only the last km before Itzehoe were overgrown, we then walked the parallel bike path.

Many water birds can be observed on the dike along the Stör. Don't forget binoculars.

Absolutely gorgeous on the dike along the Stör! On the way there are sometimes gates to cross, but sometimes fences with steps to climb over. Along the dyke, the sheep eat their way systematically from A to B. As a hiker, you walk right through the large flocks of sheep, some of which are quite curious if you stand still. That was a uniquely beautiful experience!The only drawback: You can fill out the soles of the shoes afterwards.😅 It's guaranteed to be pretty shitty!
