Jeizinen is 1,526 meters above the Rhone Valley - accessible by gondola from Gampel. The small summer resort and ski station has fallen out of date but is, for example, a wonderful starting point for hikes on the sunny heights, over the villages and alpine pastures between Lötschental and Leukerbad. Wide view of the mountains in the Simplon area (Monte Leone), to the Weisshorn (4,506 meters) above the Turtmanntal and to the Rhoneknie.
