The 'boats' by the Karlsruhe graffiti artist Christian Krämer, called 'Dome', complement an existing poem by Joseph von Eichendorff in a relatively unspectacular visual language for graffiti art: Two oversized hands carefully bring three boats made of folded paper into the water. Extremely slim, dark figures, one of them crowned, carefully maneuver two of the boats downstream. The paper boats cast shadows of large sailing boats on the wall. Poetry and graffiti combine to form a unity of word and image.
