The park around Pederstrup Manor is a popular cultural meeting place in Lolland. Here you can go in search of clues and discover other relics from the 300-year-old history of the property: for example the tea house, the ice cellar or several monuments that commemorate the Reventlow family. The main building of the castle has since been converted into a museum dedicated to the Danish statesman C.D.F. dedicated to Reventlow.

On our bike tour, we initially just wanted to pass by.

Then the Wunderbarre Museum kept us there for over an hour.

It's definitely worth a visit. Coffee and cake are also recommended.

Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow (1748-1827) was Prime Minister of Denmark, since 1813 he lived here on the family estate Pederstrup. He is buried in Horslunde Cemetery, just four kilometers away. A monument was erected there in his honor.
