Ralswiek Castle

The castle was built at the end of the 19th century. Even if you can't visit it because it houses a hotel, it's nice to look at from the outside.
The restaurant with café is highly recommended! A stroll through the park with its centuries-old trees is also worthwhile.

The Neo-Renaissance castle, now used as a hotel, was built in 1893 for Count Douglas and is notable for its striking exterior. The largely preserved interior is worth seeing. It was partly designed by the painter and architect Henry van de Velde, a prominent Art Nouveau artist. From the terrace you have a good view of the stage of the Störtebeker Festival.
