The castle was built at the end of the 19th century. Even if you can't visit it because it houses a hotel, it's nice to look at from the outside.
The restaurant with café is highly recommended! A stroll through the park with its centuries-old trees is also worthwhile.

The Neo-Renaissance castle, now used as a hotel, was built in 1893 for Count Douglas and is notable for its striking exterior. The largely preserved interior is worth seeing. It was partly designed by the painter and architect Henry van de Velde, a prominent Art Nouveau artist. From the castle's grand staircase, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the expansive castle grounds, the open-air stage of the Störtebeker Festival, and the Great Jasmund Lagoon.maps.adac.de/poi/schloss-ralswiek-ralswiek
