The Basilica of Artis in Mosbach-Lohrbach is an impressive historic building, built in 1585 by order of Electress Amalia. Originally serving as a palace church, it was later extensively renovated and restored by private individuals. Since 2003, the basilica has been used for exhibitions, events, and festivities.

The "Basilica Artis" from 1585. Elector Carl Theodor donated the building, which served as a tithe barn with winepress, to the Catholic community in the 18th century in order to have it converted into a church. Today the building is used for events and exhibitions and, like the moated castle, is privately owned.
