This church, with its over 800-year history, stands on the site of a former Cistercian monastery. The entire, certainly worth seeing ensemble still includes the former monastery gate (a landmark of the city), and other old monastery buildings house a museum and the district court. The church contains numerous works of art, such as choir stalls dating from 1511 and a baptismal font dating from around 1200.
