Today a cycle and leisure path runs along the route of the former Köllertalbahn. Other paths run parallel to the route within sight. The Köllertalbahn between Völklingen and Etzenhofen has been shut down, but not de-dedicated. if the local people are interested in this, the railway line could be rebuilt in its previous course.
