The rococo-style city palace and palace in 1770-78 was built by master builder Georg Veith Koch for General Friedrich Riedesel Freiherr zu Eisenbach. Since 1931 it has been a museum for the region with a wide range of exhibits and exhibitions: China rooms with porcelain and wall paper, historical printing, bookable lessons in the classroom from the imperial era for children, pupils and adults, geological department, archaeological excavations, period rooms, peasant parlors, costume department , Craftsman department, e.g. Blue dyers, hatters, weavers, gunsmiths, locksmiths, bakers, calculators, etc ..
