The Lauterbacher Strolch is a bronze figure that stands in the river bed of the Lauter. The figure is based on the Lauterbach Strumpflied, which goes like this: “In Lauterbach I lost my stocking”. For this reason, the curly bronze boy is also out and about with a bare foot.
