"The parish church of St. Peter and Paul was built from 1777 to 1781 instead of the Romanesque church of St. Peter, which had become too small. Its oldest part is the Gothic tower, which was built between 1580 and 1581 as a replacement for the collapsed Romanesque tower. [.. .] The interior of the church has been furnished over the course of five centuries, with many components made from several varieties of Lahn marble, including the holy water basin, the three older altars, baptismal bowl, floor and steps in the choir area, and epitaphs. [...] ] In some places fossils such as cephalopods, sea lilies and snails can still be found in the processed pieces.

The Catholic parish church of St. Peter and Paul is a listed building.
First mentioned in 1156 as St. Peter's Church.
Five bells hang in the church tower, the oldest was cast in 1922.
The tower clock was installed in 1880 and is still wound by hand every day.
