A very nice sign of solidarity with the French partner communities,

For years the community had been planning to beautify the three entrances to Essenheim with an attractive design. In 2010, the Mainz-Bingen district granted the village and history association a grant as part of its volunteer support program, which now made it possible to redesign the southern entrance to the village from the direction of Nieder-Olm.
The gate of Champagne bears the coats of arms of Essenheim and the three French partner communities Boursault, Chatillon and Festigny.
