was built as part of the Uerdingen city fortifications around 1330. At a height of 18 m, it has six floors. Similar to the city fortifications in Zons, the tower could then be entered directly from the battlement. In 1833 the mill was shut down as it became uneconomical with just one grinding cycle.

The tower was probably initially a defense and watchtower. It is not exactly known when a mill was installed in the tower. This probably happened at the end of the 14th century or the 17th century. In 1833 the town mill was shut down. In 1910 it became the property of the city of Uerdingen. Today the owl tower is no longer used.
