De Teut is a nature reserve in the Belgian municipality of Zonhoven. The nature reserve is located south of the E314 and forms a unit with the Tenhaagdoornheide nature reserve in Houthalen-Helchteren, which is located north of the highway. Together they form a heath area of approximately 2,000 hectares, the largest in Central Limburg. The Molenheide has also been part of the Teut since 2006.

The name of the nature reserve is derived from the Zonhoven dialect word toot, which means "point, tapered end or protruding part". After all, until the border correction with Houthalen in 1977, the Teut formed a tapering area on the municipal boundary. In addition, the Teut Hill rises above the surrounding landscape.
