The Grand Duke Karl Friedrich monument stands on the Karlsruhe Palace Square.
In his right hand, the Grand Duke holds the document dated July 23, 1783, abolishing serfdom in Baden. On the base is the grand ducal coat of arms from 1807 to 1830. The four female figures on each corner of the base represent Altbaden, the country on the Main and Neckar, the Black Forest in the back left and the landscape on Lake Constance on the right.
