Single lane road with beautiful views of the Gavia Pass. Up to 16% slope. Surface partly very broken. A relatively long single lane tunnel that is unlit and makes a turn is part of the adventure (it's really completely dark).

Famous and beautiful gradual climb. Not too busy with traffic.

Nowhere else have I suffered this much on my bike - on several occasions. It will get worse the higher up you get. Forza!

beautiful alpine climb, recommended in the morning before it fills up with motorcyclists.

The ascent to Passo Gavia from Ponte di Legno is a classic bike itinerary that retraces one of the most fascinating Alpine passes, height 1650 m, which saw the most famous champions of the Giro d'Italia as protagonists. Challenging, but of maximum satisfaction for the stupendous breathtaking views and the natural environment.
