Fantastic location, very tasty snack!

Here you will find the memorial for Fritz Dünßer (mountain guide and ski instructor). He was struck by lightning.

If you want to stop here, you should have a lot of time in your luggage. The service is hopelessly overwhelmed with the number of guests outside.

Nice view over the Trettach in the mountains. From Oberstdorf very easy to reach on foot (walk) or as a break for longer tours in the Oy or Trettachtal.

Great place to stop.

Closed on Friday and Saturday. No dinner. Price performance ok. Bring patience and forbearance. Kaiserschmarrn to be recommended 👍 Sausage salad is more of a children's portion but tastes good.
