In the 1930s, Ottomar Zahm created this beautiful path as a shortcut to the Scheibenberg summit. Since then, the path has been well maintained and is clearly visible due to the many stone steps and moss-covered path lapses, and is usually easy to walk on. Every now and then opens a wide view of the Erzgebirge and you get even on the way a few "mini-organ pipes" basalt columns to face. Attention, the way is not suitable for cyclists or MTB!

In my opinion the most beautiful way on or around the Scheibenberg.

Beautifully winding stone stairs to the plateau, partly heavily ingrown, but with a magnificent view. The idea at the time was worth the climb.

Located halfway up the remarkable staircase, everything slightly ingrown. You can only pass the refuge via the left part of the path (view of the mountain).

Because it is varied. Not long, but sometimes exhausting.
