Bormio is a well-known winter sports resort. However, what makes Bormio extremely likeable is the fact that this small town has completely preserved its idyll. No trace of high-growth retort hotels. But many small, cozy accommodations in which Mama Leone is still in the kitchen and the host tries to engage in caring for the bike in an interview - in Italian, of course. The cozy, authentic old town puts you immediately in a holiday feeling. It takes some getting used to only the (also very authentic) Italian relaxation - so the city awakes to life only in the afternoon.

Bormio is located on the south side of the famous Stelvio Pass. After the rapid departure of selbigem you can once shake out here hands and breathe. With its pretty old town, lively squares and thermal baths, Bormio is an excellent stopover on an Alpine tour by road bike or mountain bike. The well adapted to cyclists infrastructure, the Italian flair and the pleasant climate make a stay in the small town to a perfect rest for you.
