The Pisa-Livorno section should have been covered on a cycle path along the Navicelli canal, built by Cosimo I Medici in the 16th century to connect Pisa with the "newborn" port of Livorno; but almost immediately I was peremptorily sent back by the workers who worked on the quay then, when I looked for a passage further south, I was almost boundless in a military area and stopped (very threateningly) by the CC.
Next time I'll try again with a pedal boat! 🚴♂️💪😉

Passionate traveler, hitchhiker as a boy, motorist as an adult and finally cyclist only in old age (converted to the religion of slow tourism, on the road to arthrosis - like St. Paul on the road to Damascus), in cycling I found the excitement of adventure, an opportunity to talk with myself, the pleasure of (self) irony and the answer to some questions.
