The Schillerwiese (sometimes also used in the majority of "Schillerwiesen") lies between the Merkelstraße and the Bismarckstraße in Göttingen. It is used by many goddesses as a place for recreation, there is sufficient mattress available. A kiosk, a children's playground and a mini golf course are on site and if you want to go for a walk, you can go straight up through the city forest to the Kehr or Bismarck tower. On the Schillerwiese is a small pavilion, the "Jerome Pavilion", which used to have a different location and was moved here. Allegedly, the brother of Napoleon Bonaparte, Jerome Bonaparte, used this pavilion at the beginning of the 19th century for secret meetings. ;-)
