School classes are accommodated here in the youth forest home. The hut is a very nice place to stay, where after a joint activity pizza is baked in its own oven. The whole thing is rounded off by an information path nearby with geological information boards and excavations made visually recognizable.

The youth forest home was able to start operations in the late autumn of 1992 in the building of the former country school home in Eschweiler. One-week courses are mainly carried out here. Accommodation options are available for 36 pupils and a maximum of 2 accompanying persons. In addition to the classroom and the dining room, there is a work room and a table tennis room. Two playing fields (soccer / volleyball) and a barbecue hut can also be used for recreational activities.
