Rugendorf Castle is a mighty three-storey building made of chunky masonry. It is located next to the parish church in the center. The barrel-vaulted cellars and old wooden ceiling beams are still from the construction of the castle. The castle, which was built around 1555 by the Lords of Waldenfels, is now privately owned, so it can not be visited.
