Grundstraße Mockethal

Quite easy ascent or nice descent on the main road in Mockethal. Cross connection to the road to Dorf Wehlen, which I often take as an alternative to the Elberadweg. Especially now, when there is still construction work going on on the Elbe Cycle Path between Pirna and Wehlen.
There is little traffic on the street, the property is built on throughout and is very nice and quiet. Also suitable for hiking to discover both sides of the bottom. On the eastern hill you have a very nice view of Pirna.

Nice, not too steep climb from the Elbe valley. From there you can cycle on via the village of Wehlen to the town of Wehlen if the Elbe cycle path becomes too boring or too crowded

Very nice bypass of the main road in or out of Pirna with little car traffic.
