Rich is the treasure of legends and legends that entwine around the old Oesterweger Bittglocke. According to a tradition, it is said to have been erected on the basis of a vow, in order to guide the way through evening bells. In any case, the bell was donated in the Middle Ages by the farmers of the place. It is dated to the year 1519, but it is quite possible that the bell is still significantly older. Originally it was carried by the branch of a strong oak. But in 1805 it had to be felled and a first frame made of strong oak wood was created. In 1901 it was followed by an iron scaffolding and in 1986 the current wooden scaffolding. The bell itself is unquestionably a rare testimony of the bell-casting of the time and of local value for the local history. It was dedicated to the saints Anna, Antony and Georgi to ward off damage in the field. She was also there to mourn the dead and summon the parishioners. It was built by the so-called Oesterweger "Klockenburn" (bell farmers), which they have received over centuries to the present day.
