Wandern und Fahrradfahren macht mir am meisten Spaß! Bei kaltem Wetter bevorzuge ich das Wandern - beim Fahrradfahren frieren mir doch schnell die Füße ein.

We had seen this tour at Konrad's - and didn't know the large peat bog at all. So go ahead and discover something new. The tour starts at a large parking lot for hikers. After approx. 1 km you have to decide - bike path along the canal and later through the middle of the peat bog, or get off and push (approx. 2 km) over the footpath through the peat bog. Recommendation: slide. The moor is impressive. After approx. 1.5 km there is an observation tower, shortly afterwards the cycle path crosses. Then some moor including the possibility to walk barefoot through the moor (similar to a water step) including a water pump to wash your feet. Then "overland" to the various windmills. Great - we didn't even know that there are still so many well-preserved / well-kept windmills. There's a coffee in a mill - unfortunately it was closed when we drove past. If I'm still learning how to post photos (taken from another mobile) here - I'll hand them in later
