Easy to reach by car. We were there in the evening from 8pm to 11pm and the number varies a lot. Warm clothing, wind protection and gloves and a hat are important. Can get cool even in high summer with blue skies. Definitely a highlight in the Westfjords. The best view is between the lighthouse and the ascent to the viewpoint, is about 300m. We mostly saw, enjoyed and photographed the puffins here.
