The Sufnersee is located in the canton of Graubünden in the area of the municipalities of Sufers and Rheinwald. The lake can be reached via the San Bernardino route. The A13 runs along the lake. The only place on the lake is Sufers. The Sufers dam was completed in 1962. Around 30 hectares of meadow land were lost. Source: Wikipedia

The Via Spluga runs nicely above the shore along the lake... unfortunately the whole thing is somewhat spoiled by the traffic noise
