Once a Roman fort at the far eastern end of Hadrian's Wall, Segedunum is located at the start of the Hadrian's Wall Path long-distance trail. Today, there's a museum where you can learn all about the artefacts discovered here and looks down on the remains of the fort from the viewing platform.
