Absolutely worth seeing, plain on the outside, splendor and gold inside. In a city fire in 1735, the Stadtkirche and 176 houses were destroyed. The resulting open space made room for the Frauenkirche. The famous architect: Dominikus Zimmermann, who later also built the Wieskirche. The ceiling frescoes show groups of figures from the then-known continents.
