At this point, the ruins of the “Blue Tower” are hidden in a small forest. It served as a communications tower in the Middle Ages, the name comes from the former blue-colored slate roof. It was built at the end of the 14th or beginning of the 15th century and was used by the Lords of Thüngen to monitor shipping on the Main and the roads that led from Stetten and Thüngen to Retzbach.
