The Inheidener See or Trais-Horloffer See, whatever it is called, is a relic of the former lignite mining in the Wetterau and has been a popular bathing lake for decades, which is also often used as a summer residence by many campers and weekend home owners from the greater Frankfurt area.

Located on the route, North Route, the Wetterau Lake Plateau, the Trais Horloffer or Inheidener See lake is a popular local recreation area. Fishing, sailing, windsurfing, modern wind foiling, swimming and even diving are among the popular water sports on and around the lake. In addition to a motorhome parking space, weekend houses around the lake are among the tourist facilities.
Greetings from the Wetterau, Simone & Michael
