Best Hikes to Fürst Pückler Palace

Tips

  • On the terrace of the castle café you can sit with ice cream, coffee and cake directly on Lake Lucie and watch the ducks and swans. There are hearty dishes on the 1st floor. The scenery alone is worth seeing. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. With the combination ticket for €10 (as of June 2022) you can visit the exhibition, the special exhibition and the castle tower. The view is terrific, but it's a little cramped up there. In the garden next to the castle there are sun loungers available in summer!

  • The two lion sculptures date from the time when the palace belonged to Prince Friedrich of the Netherlands. He had his two heraldic animals put up in 1857. At the end of the Second World War, the two sculptures were lost. In 2009 and 2010 they were re-cast - financed with donations - and have been decorating the entrance to the castle since then. polish-online.com/fotos/fuerst-pueckler-park-bad-muskau/loewenplastik.php#Foto-Polen
