The cable car was built especially for the IGA 2017. It leads from the IGA entrance U-Bhf Kienberg via Kienberg to the IGA Entrance Gardens of the World. The ride offers a fantastic view over the IGA area and Berlin.

Wide view to the Müggelberge and a good overview for walks or bike path tours on the ground.
The cable car belongs to the Kienbergpark and not to the grounds of the Gardens of the World, i.e. separate entry is required at separate entrances.
You can cycle through Kienbergpark yourself, bike paths lead through and around the site.April 21, 2018
Once you are up there ... you have a great view over Berlin. Definitely climb the Wolckenhain. The bike path up / down is excellent to ride

Nice thing, a ride on the cable car. It remains to be hoped that the political hikhak will finally stop and that the cable car in the city of Berlin will be preserved beyond 2023.

The cable car to the Kienberg is also a must for every Berliner. Great all-round view over the east of the city and in clear weather to the center
