Bike Touring Highlight
Hiking on a new path up to eight meters in height - starting from the Jelena-Šantić Peace Park, the new Wuhlesteg from Cortenstahl first crosses the Wuhletal-Rad-Wanderweg. It then drops off and leads along the northern shore of the Wuhleteich flat over meadows and humid areas to the foot of Kienberg. Here it ends at the seemingly floating wooden platform of the lakeside terrace. The new pedestrian connection connects the districts Marzahn and Hellersdorf. Along the approximately 280-meter-long route, unique views are offered in a protected vegetation and fauna with a large biodiversity. When creating the pier, not only nature conservation issues were given special attention, in the middle area of the Wuhlesteg even a new wetland biotope with changing water levels was created. In order to open this special nature experience space even to small IGA visitors, the closed, 1.30 meter high grounds have windows to look out and halfway, a balcony opens the view for all visitors over the entire Wuhletal.please refer:

From here you still have a view of the still existing biotope. However, it is not what it was before the IGA. But best of all you can see it from the cable car. Also the Wuhleteich as the largest waters in the IGA, of course also cultivated / changed.
