The nature reserve Vambåsa Hagmarker Naturreservat is located on the coast near the island of Almö, about 17 kilometers south-east of Ronneby and represents an ancient cultural landscape with numerous prehistoric sites.
The Vambåsa Hagmarker nature reserve, which covers a total of 91 hectares, consists of two parts. While the Hjortahammars Gravfält, one of the largest Iron Age burial grounds in Blekinge, is located in the southern part directly on the coast, the much smaller northern part with prehistoric fields, graves and cairns is considered an archaeological monument.
