Sun and fresh snow in the mountains. What else could you wish for in December? A perfect day. Quite a long tour considering the season for a cappuccino e corneto on the main square in Domodossola. Did I mention that I was sitting outside in the sun? Just enjoying as much as I can before returning soon northwards to most likely foggier regions….

Turned around despite fantastic weather. The planned tour was via Malesco, then the pass with the Pantani memorial and down via the valle Cannobina. But my weak legs, my tired body and some general exhaustion made me just call it a - great and beautiful - day.

Die letzte der 14 Velosommertouren. Mit ca. 20km wäre sie etwas kurz ausgefallen, darum noch etwas drangehängt. Nun ist es vollbracht und das gelbe Trikot redlich erradelt.

Heute wieder mit Radschuhen, war deutlich angenehmer und effizienter als gestern! Bei der ausgeschilderten Velosommer-Tour in den Hügeln bei Remich wieder einmal Neues entdeckt. Die Auf- und Abfahrt durch die Weinberge war besonders genussvoll. Verlängert von und nach Nittel, die Mosel ist immer eine Freude und an so einem schönen Sommertag ganz besonders. Manchmal Stau auf dem Radweg, viele Familien unterwegs.

In Badeschlapfen! Auf SPD Klickpedalen….. Böse Überraschung nach einer guten Stunde Anreise per Auto, die Radschuhe waren zuhause geblieben. Zu blöd. Zumindest der Helm war dabei und auch der Sattel. Das nächste Radgeschäft? Zu weit weg. Also munter in Badeschlapfen radeln, nicht nur zum Bäcker, sondern die ganze Tour. Nun, der Tritt war nicht rund, aber immerhin hatten die Schlapfen Profil. Die Sohle dünn und die mehr als 1100 Höhenmeter haben sich in die Ballen eingraviert. Ach ja, die Tour war sehr schön, schöne Ausblicke im sehr hügeligen Norden. Deutlich kühler als letzte Woche, also ideal.
