Spacious park with three playgrounds and many benches around a pond. Here you can feed the ducks with the kids. Please only offer species-appropriate duck food!

Originally, the wet stream rivulet of the Northern Rietzschke was located on the site of the present park, which was also called the "Erlengrund". After the incorporation of Eutritzsch 01.01.1890 a development plan was set up for the suburb, which provides a green area for the unsuitable as a construction site terrain. Although the Eutritzscher Park was already planned in 1898/1899 in its entirety by the Leipzig garden director O. Wittenberg (1834-1918), his installation was then in two sections. From 1899 to 1904, initially the southern part was created, the Northern Rietzschke z. T. was laid and vaulted. Here a 9,460 m² park pond was dug, which served as an ice rink in winter. In the years 1913/1914 also the northern part of the park was created.
