From the top you have a beautiful view of Leipzig and the surrounding area and it sways quite a bit...

The artificial hill in the northwest of the Rosental Valley, the Rosental Hill – also called "Scherbelberg" (Shard Mountain), was built at the end of the 19th century and housed a wooden observation tower until the bombing raids in 1943. Since 1975, an adventurous steel structure has stood well hidden in the forest foliage. Anyone who finds their way here should definitely venture up. In windy conditions, you'll need a certain degree of stability, as even slight gusts of wind create a certain momentum, swinging noticeably back and forth.
