The Roman camp Kneblinghausen is an old fortification, of which today only soil dislocations are left. Today it is believed that it was an imperial barracks, which was responsible for monitoring the local lead ore mining. For a long time, however, it was unclear whether it really was a Roman camp. You can visit the former fortifications, which are partly located in the forest, at any time.
