Hiking
The Ljubljana Castle, which has stood on the hill above the city center for around 900 years, is Ljubljana's main attraction. The most beautiful views of the city can be seen from the observation tower and the castle wall. In the castle rooms you can visit the museum exhibition Slovenian History, the Puppet Theater Museum as well as several historical rooms and other exhibitions, including the St. George's Chapel, the former prison and the Virtual Castle.

January - March, November: from 10am to 6pm,
April, May, October: from 9am to 9pm,
June - September: from 9:00 to 23:00,
December: from 10:00 to 22:00.
