    The Fembohaus in the old town of Sebald, Burgstraße 15, was built between 1591 and 1596, presumably based on plans by Jakob Wolff the Elder, on behalf of the Dutch merchant Philipp van Oyrl. Oyrl, who was granted citizenship in 1592, acquired the property in 1590 and had the existing building demolished. The new house became the family home of Philipp van Oyrl and his descendants, as well as the headquarters of the trading company he founded.
