Information:
It stands on the former narrow-gauge railway line between Wilsdruff and Meißen Triebischtal and was the first intermediate station on the line towards Meißen. Since its opening on October 1, 1909, the small station was of great importance for passenger traffic. With the closure of the Wilsdruff-Meissen line on May 21, 1966, rail service to the Wilsdruff station also ended.
