The city park on the Georgenberg is a large, park-like complex within the city area. It goes back to the municipal cemetery (Georgenbergfriedhof), which was created in 1828 at the gates of the city. In the middle of this cemetery was the St. Georg chapel, a small church from the 13th century. The Bismarck Tower, the memorial for the victims of fascism, a German war cemetery, a Soviet cenotaph, the monument "Overcoming Hurdles", the Seemann Pavilion and the Singers View Pavilion are also located here.
