Hiking

The main path does lead over the ladders (or previously there was only a rope here). The side path was created more recently and in spring 2022 was once again damaged and even more dangerous. In 2026, according to my knowledge, the ladder will no longer be passable at all and you will have to use the detour.

Hiking

We hiked through the beautiful Aradena Gorge in 1995. At that time there was only one rope hanging here and since we didn't know what to expect further down, we decided with a heavy heart to take the strenuous way back to Loutro via Anopoli. That was really nasty because our destination, Marble Bay, was already within reach 🥴.

Attention: For this gorge you should wear good shoes and be sure-footed!
