The cirque is scenically great. I would also recommend the "descent" option. The climbing passage through the hole in the rock ("Fensterl") is not a big problem thanks to the ropes and footholds. The descent via the gravel path is not very pleasant (poles are definitely recommended!), but it is still easier and less strenuous than climbing up here. Either way: keep your eyes open and enjoy the surroundings!Update 2024 after climbing through the cirque: The climb is strenuous, but has the advantage of being easier to find the way (keep to the right when going up) and there is also less risk of slipping. Conclusion: It goes in both directions. As of today, I would rather climb than descend.

The ascent variant over the Schinderkar makes his name probably all honor ... simply impressive - even from above. This will certainly be a hike again ...

The Schinderkar is spectacular! The rise is not to be underestimated. In addition, it is easy to get off the right path, which makes the climb even more difficult! Most of them go the other way around and descend through the Schinderkar or slip partly down on the gravel.
