Tips

The Monte Legnoncino with its height of 1714 meters is considered the little brother of the neighboring Monte Legnone (2610 meters).
He can climb quite well on an old army road from the First World War from the Rifugio Roccoli del Loria (1438 meters). The last part leads over a narrow mountain path on the ridge.
The view from Monte Legnoncino reaches from Bellagio, the peninsula of Lenno in the Comer Seearm and Mennagio in the south to Lake Mezzola and Colico in the north of Lake Como.

The climb is definitely worth it. Unfortunately we were there in the evening and it was quite hazy.

We rode the bike from the lake to the summit cross. The view compensates for the great effort.
