We were at the Brixner Hütte in October when it was unfortunately already closed. The ascent from the Fane Alm was definitely worth it because of the great panorama and the wonderful autumn colors.

A really lovingly managed hut. Rarely stayed as nice as here. The hut is wonderful for climbing the "Wilden Kreuzspitze" as well as the "Wurmaulspitze". These moderate tours to over 3000m are snow-free to master in midsummer, but in June is often still a lot of old snow and more careful care is required.

Nice hut with beds. Currently not fully occupied due to Corona. Only about a third of the capacity is allocated. Nice new tenants. Food very good. There is also a shower.
